Getting Here

Location

Borth is located in Ceredigion on the beautiful Mid Wales coast just over 6 miles north of the university town of Aberystwyth. Marshbank is just a short walk from the sea at the entrance to the sheltered hamlet of Glanwern. From the mini island by the RNLI Lifeboat Station at Upper Borth take the road heading inland towards Llandre, Bow Street and Aberystwyth. The white rendered gable of Marshbank is easily visible around 100 yards away, the first property on the left hand side of the road.

Railway

Borth has its own railway station served by trains from Shrewsbury and Birmingham. The Cambrian Coast line gives easy access to Aberystwyth to the south and via Dyfi Junction to the beautiful coastal line to the north with destinations such as Aberdyfi, Tywyn (for the Talyllyn narrow gauge railway), Harlech, Barmouth, Criccieth and Pwllheli.
